Here is the presentation of the book Because you have seen me, you have believed. The New Testament in art, published by Fundación Amigos Museo del Prado last November by Pablo d’Ors.
It is the first time I have listened to a conference by this grandson of Eugenio d’Ors and, to be honest, I loved it.
I saw a parallelism with what we do at MAP:
· Discover: go out to meet, walk together, ask, listen without judgment, empty what is inside: illusions, disillusionments, aspirations, unfulfilled expectations, losses, refusals …
· Conquer: feel what we already know rationally; let it come from within with the everyday, with gestures, with the becoming that brings us every minute.
· Resolve: achieve that the person is the protagonist, walking with confidence, with their own drive.
I also liked the expression “inner chatter”: a very graphic expression of what happens inside a person.
